Studies suggest that cannabinoids may be a new class of drugs for the treatment of chronic pain. Cannabidiol, especially in combination with THC, has shown promising results in the treatment of postoperative pain, chronic pain associated with multiple sclerosis, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and neuropathic pain. DOSAGE AND SIDE EFFECTS
CBD is generally well tolerated and safe at high doses, and its use is chronic in humans; however, large doses of CBD can mimic serotonin, which appears to increase the psychoactive effects of THC. And at very high doses, CBD can cause anxiety (via activation of TRPV1 receptors). The dose of CBD can vary from 100 mg to 3 g per day, depending on the targeted health problem. 150 mg of CBD oil and twice a day relieves anxiety and inflammation.
